Appreciate the response and I'm quite sure you are right. We read up on the symptoms and they really match up with what we are experiencing ...
We have a vet appt on Tuesday so we'll know more then but it sounds like there isn't much we can do.
That's good advice in general. We will wait for the meds to take effect to help with pain management but I thought I'd ask if anyone had dealt with something similar before.
Stella has been on a slow feeder pretty much her whole life and has never issues with vomiting/regurgitating or anything...
Our girl turned 12 this year and still has pretty remarkable health for her age. In that last month or so we've noticed two big changes though:
she's having a much harder time gripping on our hardwood floors(no real surprise given her age)
she is constantly pacing around the house and sometimes...
I totally agree. It's definitely time to try some different kibble. The Royal Canin Selected Protein that we are giving her just doesn't seem to work for her anymore.
Thanks!
I very much appreciate all the information. I can't remember exactly what we feed her but we suspect the recipe for it changed during the pandemic. We noticed all of sudden it smelled quite a bit different when we opened the bag.
We very much suspect that the two things are related. The worsen...
Thanks for the response. I saw other people on this forum mentioning Lavender oil as well. We'll definitely give that a try. Our bully Stella certainly has the "brown guk" that we are always cleaning out of her ears too.
Our Bully is 11. She's had minor ear issues all her life (which I think is somewhat typical for bullies) but this last year it's been quite bad. My partner gentle cleans her ear out every couple of days and uses a cleaner with some steroid in it but it doesn't seem to be doing much. We can tell...
I think allergies are quite possible. She certainly has at least half of the symptoms in that allergy list. We'll bring it up at our next appointment. Thanks for the feedback!
For the last few days our girl has been doing this thing where she tries to clear her through a couple of times and then gags (sometimes followed by vomit). She's always done this one or twice after eating without the vomit but lately she's started doing it throughout the day.
Any thoughts on...
