I have heard Trupanion is good. But I do not have one right now.

I am a first time bulldog owner and got pet insurance the day after I got the dog. She is now 9 months old and I did have to take her to the vet for vomiting. A full battery of labs and xrays were done. My vet bill was around $1300 and the insurance sent me a check for $1067 in less than 10 days. The company is Pets Best Insurance and I recommend them highly. Prior to deciding on this company, I asked my vet which carrier their clients were most happy with, and Pets Best was named as the one. They also paid $100 towards spaying and paid for the initial wellness exam/shots, etc. I do have the "gold" plan for my bullie, which runs $75 per month, but it has already paid for itself.

I have had Trupanion for 3 years now on my Cocker Spaniel and Bertie is going on 2 and has been covered since she was a baby. I love Trupanion....I pay $111 a month, for both dogs with NO deductible. Trust me, it has paid for itself a couple times now. I have no complaints whatsoever!

Hey BabyDuke, where abouts in Phila are you from...We live in Old City and recently got a bulldog pup. We use a vet outside the city. Do you mind if I ask who you use? Thanks!

Hi there.. yep we are in the art museum area.. We use Hickory Animal Hospital....(they are in Plymouth Meeting ) for normal wellness visits.. for Duke's allergies and his eyes we use the Matthew J Ryan vet hospital in Phila.. both are excellent! we use Dr. Dan Morris and Dr. Gross and at Hickory there are 4 different vets that rotate.. they are so so nice there
