my bulldog always has red eyes and eye burger is that normal?

i just got my puppy a few weeks ago and i notcied that he always has red eyes and a huge amount of eye burger. is this normal or is it from the food? please help

Ive had Memphis 3 wks tomorrow n Ive notice a difference with the eye boogers since i changed his food as well as how much n how often he poops... The breeder was feeding Iams n he pooped a mountain 20 times a day lol n I have since switched him to the Natures Variety Instinct which is grain free n no kidding no eye boogers n down to about 3 poops a day which r hard n solid... Food may be the answer for u...

I would definitely consider a food change. Samson had alot more eye boogers when he was young and I had him on crap food
