Hair loss

Hi all.

Can anyone help with the below pictures? Bruce has started with hair loss just down his sides. He doesn't seem to scratch.

Probably.. seasonal flank alopecia. Harmless... my guy gets it and I give him vitamin d a few times a week, others have used melatonin

Yep, as Christine said. Probably SFA. Monty had it and nothing I did seemed to help. It would come and go. I tried Melatonin, NuStock and in the end, gave up and let it run its course. They say the sun helps so get him outside as much as you can, without overheating of course, even though you are in the UK!

Hi,
how much vitamin D do you give? Red has it for the first time and he is outside in the sun. He is now 8 and has had alopecia for at least 6 months. I tried omega but no luck. Not sure what else to try.

we live in sunny CA

I give one a day… 1000IU (25mcg)
