I think what @
oscarmayer says is very wise; if your vet is not an ophthalmologist, Joey should probably see one. It's always good with a second opinion, and at least here, ophthalmologists have more advanced equipment and can therefore see much more than the ordinary vet.
Castor has had eye issues for several years - first enthropion and now a dry eye which requires daily medication. Our ordinary vet clinic has always diagnosed him correctly, but on a few occasions they have referred him to an eye specialist, which has been good.
Castor is snoring beside me - it sounds as if he is humming 'say hello to Joey'
