thank you all so much for the encouragement. I feel at peace now that he is hopefully on his way to better health. I did have a question if this is ok to ask on the site? how much do you guys pay for the shot? it was VERY expensive and hopefully the insurance reimburses us a portion. Just curious. I googled some info and got a lot of different feed back.

again, I appreciate all the help and positive stuff!

Members, meet Pooh Bear a new member. I met her on a FB forum for bulldogs that wasn’t helping her much. Told her to join EBN for guidance. She is in the same boat as BabyDuke issue. She’s new so might have beginner issues to post. :)

Lambeau is $90, and we have him worked up to every eight weeks.

The dosage goes by weight. Jax who is a French Bulldog is like $60 or $65 I believe. Location may or may not play a part as well. Not sure which insurance you have but Jax has the Whole Pet with Wellness through Nationwide and we get 90% back.

I believe it was around $89... we normally go every 2 to 3 months now, but in the spring it's normally every 8 weeks.

Well I am sure glad I asked. would you believe we were charged $245 for 70 mg shot!?!?! I had such a feeling that this was so high.. I really have to find a new vet. I finally found one that makes house calls but this pricing is ridiculous!

How much does your EB weigh ? Oliver is 70 pounds and we were told it goes by weight but I think it is way higher than most vets.

OH MY gosh... I would call around, my vet is typically cheaper than the other vets in our area.
