    Default Red Paws

    Hi Guys
Im relatively new here. I love reading all the different posts and learning all the tips and tricks.
Hopefully you may be able to help me. I have noticed my Bully's paw becoming red and sore in between his toes. It doesn't seem to hurt him as he lets me clean in between (i use witch hazel) Im just not sure what it could be. Do you guys have any ideas?

If they get swollen, you can do an Epsom Salt soak. My boy won't stand for that however so if I notice his getting red or swollen I use Duoxo Mousse or Veterycin Wound care.

Red n sores are indigital cysts. Nothing a vet can do for it. Donít bother giving antibiotics as they come back. My Duke had them ongoing. I did find one solution that worked was Bag Balm. I would put BB between his toes and put a pair of socks as he would lick it off. Takes about 2 days the sores would turned darker n dry. IC arenít dangerous, they just come n go. It ABSOLUTELY needs to be the one like the photo as they now make BB as hand cream, lips n all. You want this one that has cow nipple utter.

That looks to be the start of an interdigital cyst which are common in Bulldogs, probably due from allergies. I've never dealt with them personally but I have heard epsom salt soaks can help and you can spray with collodial silver as well. Helene uses the bag balm so that's another option.

Probably goes under another name in UK. Was meant for cows so maybe you can ask in your farm animal stores.

You're right. Udder and utter are homophones and easily confused words
