Roger, have you looked into CBD oil? Please donā€™t get me wrong but I personally find Jewel is taking way too much meds that being administered and then removed and then back on......... those are meds thatā€™s extremely harsh on the organs. CBD oil is proven to kill cancer cells. Chemo kills cancer but also the good cells so she has to fight twice as hard just like in humans. Read this personā€™s story as it will guide you better.

How is she doing?
We took her off chemo and now tapering her doses of prednisone. She has skin lesions on her neck and side of her face. She essentially sleeps all day and night. The only activity is going potty and to the vet. She is also on Pepcid 15mg/day.

Could all the sleep be from the meds?

Probably. Jewel is just not herself since we started the meds. Still waiting for results of the culture from the lesions and the aspiration of the lump in her nose rope.

This lesion has grown a bit. Still on antibiotic, chlorhexidine, and neosporin.

Hang in there rjisaterp you did get some good news about the lump in her4 rope!! Maude had a pretty bad hot spot awhile ago. I use Vetericyn plus and it did the trick. Wahed it each day, with antibacterial soap, and the reapplied the Vetericyn Plus. Still praying for that little girl!

We were using Vetericyn in her nose rope. The vet wants us to use the chlorhexidine solution twice a day until the bump lump is gone.

Hope it doesn't hurt and that the chlorehexidine helps. As Castor realises a hug might hurt, he sends kisses today!

Part of the problem is her excoriating the lesions. I just used Vetericyn Plus and then used a gob of Neosporin. I am really tempted to give her Benadryl but she is on a lot of meds. Thanks for your prayers.
