Lola
Iā€™m becoming a regular on this health forum..

As I write this my Lola is snoring her head off on me.
Her head is literally pushed up against mine.

I noticed the other day a few flakes of skin on her back.
In between her shoulders, only a couple of flakes.
I put it down to her lying in front of the fire place, especially now the weather
is getting colder she loves it.

Havenā€™t seen any flakes since that day. But after a walk she will rub
herself against the sofa like she has an itch or irritated.
Sheā€™s done this for a long time.

When I stroke her or even put my hand on her the muscles on her back will
twitch. This happens when I touch all the way down to her back legs.
She seems to really enjoy being touched or stroked on her back.
A lot more than normal, like she has an itch she canā€™t reach.

Her skin looks fine to me, she hasnā€™t been scratching.
Usually she suffers with allergies this time of year so I wonder if itā€™s allergy related?

Iā€™m more than likely over reacting and worrying about nothing.
Her skins is in a lovely condition for this time of year.

I did post a question about her food aswell, so Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s food
related..?

Everyone loves a back rub, bcs we canā€™t reach it! Bullies often roll on their back, or walk under couch edge to scratch, I think it just feels good. When I see it, I rub my Tankā€™s back. If I scratch my husbands back he always likes it, even there was no itch. So, I presume, your bullie just wants a back rub.

Thatā€™s an amazing way of describing it šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Does make sense.. Can you tell Lola is my first bulldog? šŸ˜‚

After a difficult day at work and seeing that fat face bouncing towards you
makes that difficult day, and amazing day.
Absolutely love her to bits.

UPDATE

Lola was fast asleep on me and as I was stroking her back
I felt two small bumps.

Theyā€™re white about 2 centimetres big and have dry, flakey skin.
She is really sensitive when touched like theyā€™re itchy.

Where exactly are these 2 small white bumps?

One is more or less in between her shoulders and the other
is around the thigh on her right side.
She has a small amount of flaky skin around the areas.

They feel like them when I can find them,
But she has dry skin in that area, my partner says she is fine but
it seems like a strange thing to me..

I would if I could. Theyā€™re probably too small to picture.
The dry skin is only around her shoulder area.

I stroked her this evening when I finished work
and she didnā€™t flinch or show any signs something is
bothering her.

The other day she would crouch down as if she was loving being scratched in
that area.
Definitely keeping an eye on it.

Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s dandruff..
In certain places on her back there will be a small
a lump of something white. Itā€™s only in a few places..
