Thanks for all your replies I will update when we have managed to get him looked at

I would look to get a second opinion, even just to put you at ease for the right course of treatments.

Sending positive thoughts to your boy

Thanks for your reply he is on the junior version https://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs...WwCb-yxkMRaobZjIu1BtYk44EwgfS60hoCKYYQAvD_BwE this was recommended by a KC breeder

Didn't even know there was such a thing as a cold pressed dog food till you mentioned the Markus Muhle. Having taken a quick look at it, it looks good, but the Tribal TLC Truly Lower Celsius Puppy looks even better since it doesn't include a protein meal ( which has been processed at high temperatures ) in the ingredients.

Hope your dog doesn't have a heart condition!

You may see some benefit with feeding him from a pan rather than a bowl. The pan causes him to have to work and chase the food around to consume it; lessens his ability to gulp it down and possibly choke again. Also, there are bowls designed to "slow feed" with obstacles that prevent gulping. We have one for our Pippy with 3 humps moulded into the bottom. It has worked well. If you decide to go this route avoid the bowls made from numerous parts screwed together...they are a cleaning nightmare.

Thanks for your response we have tried every bowl imaginable and nothing works he eats his food so fast that he chokes and he also doesnt chew je swallows bos biscuits and anything else he can get his hands on whole so we now have to water all food down

Great news !! Give him some live raw sauerkraut from refrigerator section of health food store to celebrate, and to give him some fresh bacteria to replace those lost from the antibiotic.
