New spot on bully...any guesses?

Hello fellow bulldog lovers,

I noticed a spot on the right side of my 9 year old bully last night. Thought it was dirt stuck to his fur, but when I went to rub it the hair started falling off with some scabs at the ends. It's about the size of a quarter.

Sumo has been healthy...eating and sleeping well with occasional spurts of energy. He does have gunky ears and I'm wondering if it may be related. No known injury and trauma or changes in his food in the last month. And he's not showing any signs of discomfort or distress.

Could be staph infection... I would have vet check as you will need antibiotics to clear it up.

Also, dirty ears is usually a sign of an allergy... food or environmental. Clean with witch hazel and apple cider vinegar mix
