Help Needed! face sores

Toby developed this face sore 2 years ago. I took him to 2 vets and they didnt know and said it should go away. It took months for it to heal. Now its back again. It has been getting better. Now looks like hes getting one on the other side. They are blood filled lumps and the start oozing pus with blood. What is it? How do I get rid of them? He is almost 7yo. Thank u in advance.

Not sure what they are but have you tried a dermatologist? They may have a better idea than a regular vet.

[MENTION=17203]BigToby[/MENTION] It is hard for me to tell by these photos, but get a tube of NuStock, available at most horse supply stores, and mix it real well(you'll have to squeeze around the tube) and clean the spots,then apply some NuStock-rub it in. Apply every two days,rubbing it in well.

that stuff is STINKYYYYYYY but miracle stuff.. Just be prepared

Also wash the area with curaseb or malaseb or ketohex or chlorhexidine shampoo and rinse off. If you don't have the Nustock you can also try Banixx, Vetericyn or Equisilver sprays. They are all supposed to be good for skin infections including hot spots.

I recall seeing that. Some kind of blood blisters. Is it around the ears? As according to the photo I see an ear. Wait let me get this description for you.

Hematomas are localized collections of clotted blood. They are common on the ear tips of dogs with pendulous ears.

Or.........

Histiocytoma.*Histiocytomas are solitary, rapidly growing, dome-shaped, strawberry-like growths. They usually are benign.
Neither should be dangerous but still should be checked out.

Your vets don't seem to have given you good advice. Any other vets outside your area that are better?

One is a so called Bulldog specialist, who said my Toby was to big to be a purebred....lol... he must be to use to seeing these mini bulldogs here in Ca. Toby is 65lbs, and Ashley his daughter is 50lbs. My dogs never had any problems living in Oklahoma. Come out to Commiefornia and all kinds of problems. This, excessive shedding, sore between the toes, which I healed up with Epson salt soaks, yeast infection in ears, and crappy eyes every morning. Got rid of the yeast infection by changing food with no potato in it. Seriously considering moving back to Oklahoma.

Ugh!!! Poor bully boy.... it sounds more like the blister than the histocytoma-- histo are pink and look like warts...

Keep us posted, please. Also if all environmental ask your vet about the cytopoint shots--- no side effects and given once every 4-6weeks ; has worked wonders for Lambeau

Personally I too think its more a blister as its tiny blood clots that accumulates n then burst. No danger! !! What are you feeding her? I would change the food completely. Either go raw or home cooking or honest kitchen or Spot Farms. You will solve a lot of her problems if not all.

[MENTION=17203]BigToby[/MENTION] Before you spend a $$$ try the NuStock for awhile. It only costs around $13 a tube,and it last forever. I have had MANY species of animal that I have used it on,including a horse that when trimmed the farrier failed to see an abcess. It got so bad that her hoof came off. In the beginning everyone said I should shoot her that she would never walk again,or ride. I dr. her every day,and was faithful about cleaning her "stump" and reapplying NS. It took awhile but her hoof grew back-totally normal! I am a BIG fan of NS! (p.s.) It never goes bad and if it dries up,just ad mineral oil or olive oil!
