We have a 6.5 year old rescue, Lola. Recently she started to hiccup, couldn't get comfortable, then she starts drooling. It tanks 2 to4 hours to disappear. At first we feared she was bloating, but that wasn't it. We've had numerous vets look at her, numerous tests and we can't figure out what the cause is not what is going on. My wife is part owner of a 4 Dr. Vet practice and the dry and specialists are stumped. Our three previous bullies never did this. We feel so bad for her...help if you can. Thank you

Have then checked for obstructions? Via xray, sono, or barium?

I am assuming that she has been xrayed, and had sonagram. Sounds like could be spasms of the esophagus(sp?)Surely they have checked that.....Have they done ultra-sound on her throat while she is having a spell? Having all these Dr.s surely they have checked everything. So sorry,I hope they can find the cause.
