NAIL TRIMMING: Does anyone use a Dremel ?

Once I was clipping Maximus' nails with a clipper ....... and of course I cut to deep and cut the quick. He bled nonstop for over an hour.
My room-mate had to run to PETCO to buy that syptic powder to stop the bleeding. Ever since that experience, I no longer cut Maximus'
nails - I either take him to the Vet to have the Techs do it, or I use the dremel. So much better.

We have a friend who is a groomer come to our home every 3 weeks to dremel nails. Since we switched to a dremel we haven't had any nail splitting to the pad - which had happened to Schultz several time in his early years very painful... Dremel ing seems to keep his nails from doing that[emoji6]
