here he is in all 80 pounds of his glory! hahaha.

I'm working on his god awful nails as quick as I can. his feet are too ouchy to work on too long
Thank you for noticing and having the courage to stand up. Look at coconut oil. There are a few discussions about its benefits. It may act a a soothing agent, but it will definately fight the internal yeast, which he must have. Poor boy, and bless you. Add a probiotic too.

his feet have gone from bright angry red to pink today so I think that's am improvement. I also picked up some anti bacterial ear wipes as well as wiping his ears out with the spray I made.

Also, we're considering a name change. Possibly Boss Hog? we're so indecisive! we're just calling him 'bulldog' for now as half of my family veto'd sarge

Names always seem to be the hardest to agree on.... a pet tends to respond to about anything as i think they just respond to the sound/tone of our voice. Both are great names... Sarge and Boss, and he will fit both names at some point --- owning the house and bossing you all around

Hi your situation hits close to home for us...we rescued a 4 year old bulldog back in November and he was a mess....yeast, allergies to everything, bacterial infections, mites! His paws were red and swollen and bled if he walked in the street. The vet had to refer us to a dermatologist and she gave us Douxo chlorhexidine & climbazole mousse with phytosphingosine. It has antiseptic ingredients and deals with the yeast too. It's a foamy mousse texture you apply w/ your hands and let air dry. It's on Amazon too. We also got him vented mesh booties as he kept licking his front paws making it all worse. After a long round of antibiotics and treating mites with Bravecto he was put on Royal Canine Ultimino which is a last resort food..basically a synthetic food. He is also on Cyclosporine....the last resort for allergy medication. After all this he is finally looking good....well as good as he'll ever look! The yeast went away with the allergies, mites and infections under control.
