I found this while searching for pumpkin treat recipies for dogs and thought it was interesting and would share. I don't know it's validity but anything natural to get around harsh meds is worth a try in my eyes.

Oops, I forgot to add that they should be freshly ground pumpkin seeds. They lose their strength if the ground seeds are unused for too long, even when stored in the fridge.
@savemejeebus do you know if it can be used for cats too?
Interesting I did not know that. I know it is in some of the better dog foods. But they are not fresh as @savemejeebus mentioned once in the dog food.
@Bella Cows Mama - Not too sure, but I believe that it's the same for cats. However, the amount should be less. I'll look more into it and will let you know.
