I don't bathe my dogs because of my allergies, and Walter can seem to handle coconut oil in his diet. I add some salmon oil to his kibble once a day, and that seems to keep the flaky skin down.

I rarely bathe them also Nelli came this way and it is not crazy serious but she does scratch a bit and i can see the flakes

I give mine coconut oil every evening in their kibble. You can also rub it all over them.

Agree with the gang.... add some coconut or fish oil to her food

When I have had a dog with dry skin,I put extra virgin olive oil in their food( about a tsp/tbsp) and when I bath them, I rinse them with Avon Skin-so soft bath oil. @natski
