I also kind of wonder (though admittedly I have know knowledge) if it's really safe for their eye to be popping it in and out often like that. What did your vet recommend?
My vet doesn't like it when they have to have surgery for cherry eye, but sometimes you don't have a choice. I'm going back in today to see what we need to do. It looks even worse this morning! My vet has experience with English Bulldogs and there is another vet in town that specializes in eye surgeries. They worked together before on my Chihuahua's eyes, so they'll probably both do the surgery on Dozer.

My baby boy had his other eye tucked at 5 months old and it there was no problems. Anesthesia is always a risk at any age, but so is that cherry eye. Remember to use a bulldog specialised Opthomologist.
I'm afraid he's going to need surgery soon. His eye looks even worse this morning and it has goo in it.

Just had my 4 month old done on both eyes. Really didn't seem like a major ordeal. Need one week with a donut around her neck. As long as you have a good vet that has experience with this surgery-should not be an issue in my opinion. She is now back to being a beauty queen.

We went ahead with surgery. He's been home a couple hours and is acting completely normal. Eating and playing. His eye is a little bloodshot but that's it.
    Thanks for all the replies.
