Why no rubbing alcohol?

It burns, probably why he tries to bite you!

There are ear cleaning solutions to buy if vinegar/water isn't
enough once the ears are really gunky.

Hi Kim, everyone has given you really great advice already, the only thing that I can add is what kind of bowls do you use? stainless steel bowls are the best because plastic bowls can get little scratches or cuts in them, which will hold the bacteria and can also be a cause of chin acne or breakouts. You are doing everything right filtered water, no chicken or brains in his food or treats, keeping his chin clean and dry after eating and drinking, and putting Polysporin on his chin are all things that will help. The other thing about using alcohol is that it is very drying and can be irritating to the tissues. Good luck, I hope you find the right food for Fezzik, and his chin and ears clear up. Keep us posted on what things helped, so others can use your tips.
