Oh my goodness, poor baby!!! What are they feeding? Have they been to a vet to determine if its staph, or some sort of demodex mites, or something? How awful, I be its so uncomfortable. Is he itchy? Smelly?
WOW… I'm going to tag some people w/more experience on this. This could very well be allergies, environmental or mites… was she taken to the vets to do a skin scrape?
beckylu00 Oh m goodness.... I would not be surprised if they are allergic to the food they are eating.... whether it is an ingredient or maybe storage mites. There was a member with a similar issue that was on the bully's back and he was allergic to dust mites.
I would get to a dermatologist to have the skin examined and an allergy test done
When I first got Tyson, he has similar like outbreak, not as bad, but similar. It did end up being demodex mange, he was put on antiboitics for 2 weeks, that along with a food change got him all healed up. However there were some patches on the back of his neck that never ever grew back hair. I could care less, but at least the meds along with the food change made a world of a difference.
Hey y'all i talked to her today. She took him to dermatologist. This whole time the vet was not treating him for the right thing this whole time he had mites. They finally put him on medicine to treat it it's just so sad the whole time he was he was being misdiagnosed. She feel so bad cuz she was doing exactly what the doctor told her to do and this whole time it wasn't what they thought it was thank God I found the dermatologist and he's on his way to recovery thank God thank you all for your input and advice
