Lump after micro chip

Hi
I got my pup spayed and chipped Tuesday. And she is doing great but since I picked her up I felt a lump where they micro chipped her. The vet called me on Wednesday and I told him. He said the chip may have migrated. The lump has gone down some but still there?

None of my pups had that happen, but could it be just swollen from the injection? What did the vet mean by 'migrated''... moved?

Yes. It moved near shoulder

This happened to our Buster, it went away within a week

It should go away in a few days, plus it is normal for them to move a bit.

No worries it is regular but glad to see your concerned there are going to be a lot of these moments so brace yourself. That is why this is a great forum they answer questions nonjudgmental and support you through the hard worrisome times.
