How bad it was and what it looks like today.
I hope all this helps & the right long message got to you. Had to edit the first one, got my right and lefts messed up lol.

I am still learning about him everyday.
Right now he has super dry flaky skin. I'm hoping that it is just the weather and there isn't any underlying infection going on.

I was hoping after each surgery he would heal up quickly. It does take a while. You'll get glossy eye, crusty tear stains, swelling etx.
Then it finally goes down and they look beautiful.
But if it isn't bulgy like it's trying to come back out-you can tell in my pictures how his was doing that-I wouldn't worry too much.

Thanks Kimberlie, for all the info and pics This really helps and gives me some relief knowing he is healing and is just taking a little longer than I expected.

Still really red with some swelling still present. Morning guck has subsided to almost none, but I still wipe them clean with a warm washcloth twice a day before adding drops. I guess its just taking a little longer to heal.
