Boris Soft Palate Surgery

OH- If they do keep him overnight, just ask if there's a vet there, or who stays with the animal overnight. I recently found out that many vet offices or "hospitals",keep them over night but there's no one to watch them. The vet or techs periodically check in but that's it. There's no one there physically if the animal goes into distress.

Just saw this; so glad to hear Boris' surgery went well!

Castor stayed over night at the hospital (monitored closely) after his nares/soft palate surgery because of the risk of swelling that [MENTION=7457]nycbullymama[/MENTION] refers to.
