Is it possible for my 3 1/2 month old to experience an upset stomach from teething? The past two mornings, Sophie has woken up retching. Yesterday she threw up some green liquid, and this morning it was only foam. Both days she has eaten a good breakfast and had normal bowel movements. I did notice yesterday that some of her big girl teeth seem to be trying to break through the gums, so I was wondering if her teething could be causing this. Any opinions?

Possibly but it is more likely an empty stomach that is causing it. What time is the last feeding? If it is a long time between it and breakfast you can try giving a little snack or part of a plain rice cake before bed time.

Occasionally had dogs vomit for no known reason-usually just bile. Never had one vomit due to teething. Could be a possibility,I guess. More likely empty stomach, as Marine91 has said. Mine get a little dog food w/yogurt before bed( and 2 little biscuits in their crate.)
