Why can't you get him to a vet for a week ? Please don't leave it, tell your vet it's an emergency and if they don't see him then there not the vets for you.

Giving him a bath with Dawn dish soap will kill the fleas that are on him. You will have to buy some flea spray to keep the fleas off.
Amoxicillin is 5mg per lb. every 12 hours.

You could try some over the counter Polysporin ear drops and eye drops. These can be purchased at the drugstore.

If he's constantly having ear & eye infections, it could be a food allergy.

Look for Grain Free & avoid Chicken based food.

I feed Taste of the Wild, Bison & Venison dry kibble, can be bought at
Tractor Supply. It's concentrated so I feed 1 cup morning & 1 cup evening,
Cami is 64 lbs so I add 1 cup green beans each feeding so she's happy.
Their poop doesn't stink, no stinky gas & poop is much less because they
retain the nutrients instead of just passing thru their stomachs & pooped
out. Good quality foods =less problems=less Vet bills :)

How long have you had your Bulldog Rufus? I am concerned that money is a concern versus the best care of your Bulldog. Alpo is not what any Bulldog should be eating, and with the prescriptions available in today's veterinary medicine, fleas and flea bites should not be an issue. Is there someone who can help you afford to properly care for Rufus? It is important to be a responsible pet owner, as your baby is relying on you for a happy and healthy life.
