Giving Charlotte her bath and while getting her tail cleaned up, I noticed some redness around it! Noooooooooooooooo. She has a very deep, tight cork screwed pocket which I try to keep clean regularly. Never had an issue before. I finished her bath, dried her and lathered her up with Desitin for the time being. I've read so much about tail pockets and still it happens! :w00t:
What do you all suggest? There seems to be so many options..... To complicate matters I'm going on vacation in 4 days and leaving her with a sitter... Thankfully, I don't think she'll mind the extra tail therapy too much.

Help!
