Happy 4th everyone ! I wanted to take time and update everyone on how Molly is doing. She is doing great it has been extremely hard keeping her from doing all the fun things she loves doing so much. Like going for rides! But I've gotten creative and we've even learn some new tricks. It will be 3 weeks on Friday so half way there. I'm struggling with vacation we planned on taking her to myrtle Beach with us. We're supposed to leave July 18th . Which would put her at 5 weeks. Any advice on traveling with her it will be a 14 hr car ride. She loves to travel so we are very excited !

Great news:) If she loves traveling I don't think there will be any problems on your trip as long as there is chance for potty and refreshment stops:) Have fun and take a lot of pics, bulldogs on the beach is awesome:w00t:

so good to hear she is coming along.... half way there :whew:

Travel --- lots toys and treats. We did a few roadtrips out to Chicago with our guys a few years back and they mostly slept while the car was moving

I am so glad Molly is doing well! I have been following your threads, as I am going through pretty much the exact same thing with my Effie. We had 2 vets tell us it was an ACL tear, before we finally saw an ortho specialist who did x-rays and determined a "chip fracture" on her growth plate (right above her tibia). They put a splint and a soft cast on her on 6-26-15, and told us to restrict her activity & stick to cage rest for the next 4 weeks, so that hopefully we could avoid having surgery. We're just a little over a week in now- and my god, it can't end soon enough. She's 6 months old today actually, and keeping her calm is the most impossible thing I've ever had to do. We went on vacation over the holiday weekend and she slept virtually the whole drive there, but we had to keep her crated for the majority of the vacation because she just doesn't know how to relax. I can't stand seeing her like this, but I am also glad she is still in such high spirits! I am anxious to see how Molly's 4 week follow up x-rays go! Good luck with everything!!
