Rumble's ACL Surgery Round 2

I feel like this is a bad case of deja vu. Sir Rumble Pig had his left ACL repaired via TPLO surgery a little over a year ago (May 22, 2014). We knew then that there was a 50% chance of him tearing the other one and needing surgery. Well we have unfortunately fallen in the bad 50% category and have officially gotten the news that Rumble has torn his right ACL. He will go in for TPLO surgery to repair his right ACL on Wednesday, June 17. I cannot believe this is all happening again just over a year later. I am more confident in the healing process and what I need to do for that this time around but nothing can calm the butterflies and all the nervousness I have in my stomach regarding him being put under anesthesia again. Any prayers and good thoughts (for both him and me!!) would be greatly appreciated!!

Positive thoughts and prayers. We have been through this escapade once and I hope we don't have to go through it again. So we hope all goes well.

I dropped Rumble off this morning. I did not get any kisses or even a look back. He ran away with the nurse as fast as could!! That crazy dog. I tried to warn him what is ahead. They told me if I don't hear anything by 2:00 that I can call to check on him. This is going to be the longest day ever!!

Tiffany - I am saying a prayer for sweet Rumble. Please keep us posted when you hear from them. I know the pain, been there, it stinks. Will they let him go home today?
