I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. My 9 month bulldog was spayed and had her soft palate reduced 4 days ago. Overall she is doing really well but she started marking her territory. She did this a couple times in the past-- usually involved digging at a blanket that I was covered in and her marking me. For the past few days, she has dug and marked her bed multiple times and the couch (which we have covered with a sheet) twice. We have literally been with her every waking second since she had her surgery done except for sleeping and switching around laundry loads.
Is this our new life or is it just the residual hormones? Does anyone have any experience with this?
