I use the limited ingredient Fromms Lamb and Lentils and it has done miracles with Aces coat and shedding. I hadn't combed ace in about 1 week, and today he just had a hand size ball of loose hair. Before it was a trash bag! Get a skin scrape to be on the safe side.

Agree! just to be safe. Lamb and Lentil is grain free.

frank had the same spots at that age. we had him scraped twice - nothing came back - and it was never much of an emergency concern to our vet. it did clear up but he was on so many different medicines for the first 6 months of his life that one of those might have helped. he hasn't had a spot in several months. either way your vet will probably suggest a scrape. I hope you get answers!

Looks like possible demodex to me.Vet can do a scrap to see if the mites are alive.
