As some of people know I'm first time EB owner. I just noticed this on Brett. Is that allergies? Should I freak out already.

It's not really bothering him. Nor he doesn't lick it that much. Wonder if it's the yogurt. I got the plain nonfat yogurt than the Greek plain one?

Yeah 4 mos. one is on his chest and the other is on his right leg.

doubt it is allergies, might be mange -- all dogs have mites, but their immune system is not strong enough to control them. I tagged a few members that might be able to add more insight.... but make a vet appointment to have his skin scraped and confirm either way

Will do. They close today but is there a type of ointment or something I can apply while waiting for the Vet?

I wouldn't panicโ€ฆ it could be mange, but the only way to confirm is to have a skin scrape done. It could very be just an allergic reaction to something too. My Wally had demodex mange, and if it's caught in the early stages it is very treatableโ€ฆ keep us posted!!!

Also I got a new collar and name tag yesterday. Wonder if that's the other reason too. Coz yesterday/last night there was nothing on his chest. Just today when I came home from errands about an hour. I recall he was wearing the collar and name tag and I always leave him in his crate when I do a quick errands.

Have you taken him to the dog park recently? My dog had hair loss like that after a few rough play dates
