Having owned English Bulldogs for the past 18 years I would highly recommend Dr. Martin Siegel and Dr. Charlotte Read-Kydd (aka Dr. Charlie) at:

Flemington Veterinary Hospital
54 Voorhees Corner Road
Flemington, NJ 08822
908-782-5731

Dr. Siegel is one of the finest surgoens there are. Dr. Charlie is one of the best Doctors on staff. She also owns an English Bulldog and a French Bulldog. I am the proud owner of two of her female English Bulldog's offspring. She is an amazing Veterinarian who genuinely cares about animals and what she does.

I live in Lake Stevens, WA and I would def refer Advanced Care Animal Clinic in Smokey Point, Dr Blair is knowledgeable and conservative with her care. She just did my baby's entropion surgery, and so far we are very pleased with the results! Also, for eye care I would recommend the Animal Eye Care in Seattle- the clinic is very nice and accomodating:)

I received some good tips for Vets in the Washington DC/NoVa area. We are thinking of trying the following:

Cherrydale Animal Hospital
4038 Lee Highway Arlington, VA 22207
http://www.cherrydale...
703-528-9001

I also heard good things about Dr. Dove from Companion Animal Clinic in Gainesville, VA but that is too far away for us.

Hope this helps! Will keep you updated with how the visit goes with Cherrydale Animal Hospital!

Dr Wayne Budding, D.V.M at Sunset View Pet Hospital 627 West Fifth St, Wilton Iowa 52778. I had my first Bulldog neutered and Palate Resection [ shortened] done yesterday plus a parvo injection, total cost was $262.50. This is the vet the breeder I got Sullivan from uses and is only about 45 minutes from my home. Sunset has pretty much all the Bulldog buisness in this area, they are great!

This is NOT a recommendation but a BEWARE. I took a very pregnant English bulldog to Berks Animal Emergency in PA today. It all started at 2:00 P.M. I noticed Ellie dripping green fluids. A dreadful sign, it means the placenta is torn away from the puppies and the sooner you get the pups out the better the chance of survival. So I called Berks animal emergency and told them I what I have have, they said how soon can you be here, I said 15 min. They said OK we'll notify the Dr and get ready.
So I RUSHED! and made it by 2:15, they admitted us almost immediately and then took us to a room and we sat and sat and sat for 2½ hours!!!!!
I practically screamed at the nurses every 15 minutes, what is taking so long?
Poor Ellie was forced to be on a cold concrete floor the whole time... her belly and nipples were cold. She was also having contractions and was very miserable.
Finally at 5:00 P.M. they took her in and told me to go home.
Well at 6:30 I get a phone call, it's the Dr. saying he wants to introduce himself before he does the C-section! I just about fainted, why on earth is introducing himself way more important then taking care of my dog....

I have been crying all afternoon and I just had to vent.......

I am still waiting to hear the outcome
