Sorry, didn't see this til now! Yes, we are in Albuquerque and our normal vet is Dr. Pfleuger (Cibola Mobile Veterinary). My husband is a vet med distributor and knows all the vets around town. I'll ask hiim if he recommends any others and post again manana.

Bella, Dozer and now Mia has been seeing Dr. Kathy Ferguson for the past three months.
Dr. Ferguson has a three year old female EBD and most of the staff also have there
    own EBD.

There is a breeder in our area that breed's EBD show dogs that has all of his dogs C-sections done at Bayleaf, so they have quite a bit of experience working with English Bulldogs.
There are four doctors and one surgeon and the operating room is state-of-the-art.
All four doctors and their staff are very friendly and helpful.
The first time I used Bayleaf was some 16 years ago to have our family dog spayed.
Hope this helps somebody in the area.
Will post a picture of Dr Ferguson and Mia.-img_1446-450x800-jpg

I am in Maine and use Dr Perkins at Westside Animal Hospital. Cumberland ME right outside of Portland. He does all the care for the French bulldog rescue group including palate a nares surgery. He performed this on our EB with no problems. He is one of a few in the area that uses laser surgery. I would highly recommend him.

I would like to recommend our wonderful vet. She specializes in bulldogs. She also has 3 bulldogs she has rescued. So sweet and attentive. Always calls to find out status of our babies when they've been sick

    I take Tallulah to:

    Dr. Jeanine Barile
    Lien Animal Clinic
    3710 SW Alaska Street
    Seattle, WA 98126
    206-932-1133

"Doctor B" has a Frenchie and an EB of her own and specializes in brachycephalic breeds (though she sees others, too). She really knows all about Tallulah's allergy issues and is full of good advice for all kinds of care and grooming. She really gets it since she has her two at home. Doctor B also did Tallulah's palette surgery this fall; she's done a lot of these, so it's pretty routine for the clinic.

Tallulah loves going there--even when I had to bring her back the day after her surgery for some anti-nausea meds, she just trotted in happy to see everyone. They are always very attentive and concerned. They called every day after her surgery until her nausea problem was stabilized.

They have long hours and are open until 7:30 p.m. most days and until 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays -- that's pretty hard to beat.

I've heard some local conversations that Lien is more expensive than some other neighborhood vets, but they probably are on par with other clinics that have brachycephalic specialists. I did google around for rough estimates on palette surgery and Tallulah's was less than I expected (about $650). When they prescribed some eye drops that come from a compounding pharmacy, they referred me to somewhere in Arizona that is much less expensive than places around here. So they do try to be aware of expenses.

Most of the other recommended vets in the Seattle area are over on the Eastside, so I'm really happy to have found someone so close!
