Thank you! So, it could just go down on its own?

She may have an irritation there but I don't think it's cherry eye (yet). It may go down on it's own after a good nights sleep.

Hi, I agree with Phil and Lisa, it doesn't really look like cherry eye yet, it's hard to tell from the picture, but it may be starting or it could be an irritation. I would keep an eye on it, cherry eye usually comes out after playing or exercising.
My female Blossom developed cherry eye when she was 5 months old, and we waited until she was 7 months old when we spayed her and had her eyes repaired at the same time. I would mention it to the vet the next time you are there for her vaccinations or checkup and have him check her eye. If it is starting you can try massaging it back in, and use eye drops to keep the eye moisturized.

Thank you! She goes to daycare at the vet, so I'll ask when I go tomorrow. When I look at it closely, I can see the bump is forming under the furry skin of the eyelid. It doesn't appear to come from the red/inside part of the eyelid. Oh well, I'll see what happens.
Thanks again!

I think you are overthinking this. I do not see a cherry eye either. A lubricating drop might help relieve the irritation.

I've been known to overthink things, LOL.

I do not think overthinking is a bad thing. If at all, it means you are proactive and on top of things, which means you care. I'd try to stay in the middle between this and overly optimistic.

Massage it and see how it goes. You can always have it done during her spay. I was fortunate with Raven that hers can easily be massaged back in and it is not as frequent as when she was a pup. Tyson on the other hand has very droopy eyes and there is no massaging his back in. He will have them both done the end of the month during his neuter surgery.
