    Default Heat spots

What is best to use on heat spots? My boy was neutered last Monday, the vets gave us onsoir painkillers, which I think he may have had a slight reaction too, a heat spot has appeared on the back of his neck towards the top of his head on Thursday, I'm presuming it's the meds he has had as nothing else is different, same food etc, wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what I can use on him? Thanks in advance

Looks like you caught it early... you want to keep the area dry and clean.... shave it, clean and let the air keep it dry. It will dry very hard and get crusty, gross, i know, but that is how they heal. shaving is important because the fur traps dirt and moisture which is what the causes them not to heal
