That looks like Cherry Eye to me. You can massage it back in, but it usually needs surgery eventually.

The third eye lid can pop out and sometimes it will pop back in but probably will pop out again at some stage best talk to your vet as there is a couple of options 1 partial removal of third eye lid or 2 they put in a stich to hold eye lid. My mj had cherry eye at 4 months old I had a partial lid removal no problems since this was done

I have had two bullies with cherry eye and it looks like cherry eye to me. My last bully had surgery on both eyes, the one with cherry and the one without to prevent ever having it in that eye. She was very young when she had the surgery. We had an excellent surgeon who had never had a patient relapse. I was really happy that we did it when she was young. If you wait until they are older, sometimes their eyes don't make enough tears to risk the surgery. That was what happened with our other bully with cherry eye. At any rate, the eye specialist that treated Rosie said that cherry eye is just a cosmetic problem and he recommended not doing surgery. Good luck whatever you decide to do!

Some of you may remember that this is the eye he has had entropian surgery on twice and the third time was to remove wayward eyelashes from his upper lid.Could these surgeries have caused this? Its so weird cause he was fine then wham- o a bubble lid.

Yes it looks like a cherry eye. Canelo got his at 5 months old. I tried to massage it back in but it came right back. We had Canelo fixed due to one testicle not dropping so they did the cherry eye too. So far, 3 years later, no re-occurrence.

The vet andew in northern ireland is the only one who does this that way in the country but it was much better than having the little pup put fully under and she was flying about the place the next day
