My wife came home to find Jewel had puked again...bile. She is on her way to the vet now. I'm stuck on a commuter bus in baltimore on my way to the park n ride.

All prayers needed please for our Jewel.

I know you said there was no way she was able to swallow anything without you guys knowing, but I would have them do a sonogram anyway just to rule out obstruction.

My wife and just got home. Jewel was admitted for supportive care. Her tests were repeated this evening and were elevated even more compared to Saturdays. The still don't know the cause of this. She also has developed a UTI. IV , antiemetics will be started tonight as well as a check of her clotting times. She will be in the hospital at least to Wednesday. We will know more tomorrow after rounds.

Xrays tonight were ok...no obstruction. Ultrasound tomorrow.

Okay Honey, I know (we all do) how hard this hits us...instant sick at your
stomach, sucker punch to the gut, heart immediately banging in our chest
all while trying to act & speak as a capable 'together' adult when all you
want to do is race thru the hallways pulling your hair out & shrieking at the
top of your lungs not giving a dam what anyone thinks.

Thanks. We're expecting a call by noon. I'm a mess. Bentley is looking for his woobee (Jewel). I took him outside and let him play with the varsity ball...man he can move that ball around like a soccer forward....so to release some energy. It worked...he's napping now.

We were told Jewel will be at the hospital at least through tomorrow. I will post something as info is available.
