I am so sorry. That decision is the hardest thing about raising these precious babies. It seems so counter intuitive after all that you have done to care and protect them. We lost our little Midge to acute renal failure. I'm here if you want to talk.

Heather I am so sorry to hear about your BeBe, My Prayers and Love are with You and Your Family. Our Poodle last year had kidney failure, we had to let him go to Rainbow Bridge, it was hard but it was the best for Milo. It is hard to say goodbye, but I know I will see Milo and all of My 4 Legged Babies I have lost in the past one day when it is my time to go. We will all be together never to have to part again.

Thank you for the kind words, it's been hard on the kids they are to the age that they know she is never coming home.

My daughter went with me. I did ask her but told her she didn't have to. But I can not have a dog out down and not be there I never want them to feel alone and that I loved them to the last breath.

@HrsDiva I am so sorry for you. This picture really made me cry-thought I would not cry but this is the one. It just shows all the love and sadness all in one photo, but it is a beautiful picture of love.
I have had to be in your place so many times. You did the most loving thing for her, and she knows it. I know it took so much love and courage to hold her.
she is now happy, pain free and romping with others at the Rainbow Bridge. No suffering-only for you. You did your best FOR HER.

I am so sorry for your loss. Bebe was so loved by you and your family and you made the right decision, but it still takes a big piece of our hearts when they go. That picture of you and your daughter hugging Bebe brought tears to my eyes. Bebe definitely knew she was loved and you were there with her at the end to give her love and comfort. Hugs to you and your family during this tough time.

Heather, I am so sorry for your loss, although I agree with what you did. Still does not mean your crumbling inside. My prayer's and thoughts are with you as you grieve sweet BeBe.
