Hey everyone-

Does anyone know what this is? It popped up on our little girl today. Sorry it's a little blurry...she didn't want to stand still.

We took her to the vet last week for 2 spots, one on her front leg and the other on her head that look like ringworm. We're waiting for the results to get back next week and using a spray anti-fungal medication on those spots.

Anyhow, we have no idea what it is. I'd hate to do another trip to the vet if I don't have to.

Thanks,

Christine

Oh my, the white ball looking thing? Almost looks like a pimple or even herpes?

:hmm: wonder if she bit her lip playing or chewing a toy? How old is she and does she have any others in or on her mouth?

Lisa bullmama) -- can it be one of those hysto-thingies or are they only on the skin? Only other thing I can think of, especially since it is smooth and on the lip... is puppy warts

I don't think so, those are usually red and raised. That looks more like a tiny ball. I bet it's more of a sore or cyst or like another said, bit his lip?

image.jpgimage.jpgIt looks a lot like the puppy warts my Ruckus had when he was little. I attached a few pictures. I rushed him to the vet who told me they just go away on their own, so it was kind of a waste of a visit, but I had never seen it before. I did some research and I put a few drops of Thuja extract in his food (purchased from Whole Foods, but I think you can also get it on amazon) every other day and I also squeezed them and made them pop...I know it sounds mean but the vet recommended it saying that it causes the body to fight the virus quicker. I'm not sure if that was what helped but he didn't seem to feel me doing it and they did go away quicker than predicted.
