Hi Linda and Ed. I'm so sorry you're going through this with Knuckles. I don't have any experience with seizures or their causes, but hopefully a member who does will come along soon to give you some advice. EB's are very sensitive and can be quite OCD, especially when it comes to changes. They don't like things to be added, moved or rearranged, and even small things can cause them stress. It can take a while for them to adjust to these changes, especially a major move. Hopefully his seizures are stress related, in which case they should resolve themselves with time, once he settles in and gets used to his new home, smells and surroundings. Give him some time, but watch him closely, write down the dates and times of his seizures, and document the severity, length, and any other symptoms you notice. Keep a log of his seizures so you can show it to his vet if needed. It also helps to take a video of the seizure when he has one, you can use your cell phone or I-Pad to tape it, that way your vet can see what happens during his seizure. I hope his seizures are just stress related and they go away. If they continue or get worse, I would take him back to the vet. Please keep us updated on how he's doing. I hope he feels better soon. Sending you love, hugs and prayers for you and Knuckles.
