Hello bully lovers,
My male dog will have a surgery to remove his elongated soft palate next month.
Do you know how to take care for him after the surgery? What kind of food should I give him?
Any useful information will be appreciated.

This is the patient:

Soft food only to give your baby time to heal! You can make something yourself....maybe chicken or beef and oatmeal or rice...or just moisten their dog food. It should talke about a month for your baby to heal.

Hello!
My bullie got it done yesterday :blah: he came home today and he is very drowsy/sleepy/slow... I was advised to give him canned dog food (soft) and make it into small "meatball" shape to help him swallow and not hurt his throat. He is taking meds and is supposed to eat canned food for one month. I hope he gets better soon and I hoe ours does fine with his operation. I can already hear (or not hear) a huge diference in his breathing/snoring - a lot softer!

Just make sure not to leave the water out right after they come home from surgery. You should opt to give ice chips or crushed ice.
