Yes, that's what I was thinking he may have smelled the previous dog despite my efforts to get rid of the smell. I've mentioned that soft palate surgery to my gf and we need to do that if that's the case he'll be a year old next week. Does anyone have any idea how much it costs for that surgery? We live in Southern California. Los Angeles county to be exact.

Great advice by the gang for sure...get the palate checked, make sure the temp in the house is cool for him and also keep in mind Bullies can be very OCD so it will take him time to adjust to the new home and the changes to his routine

please keep us posted

I moved about a month ago and was pleased with Cami's seemingly easy
transition...last week she marked my bed (and my Mother's) every day
and twice one day. Christine
@2BullyMama helped me understand WHY.
She said Cami was feeling more comfortable so was just now expressing
her anxiety and her insecurity, we might move yet again. She also pointed
out, as long as I was unpacking (and I still am) she would probably continue
marking. So...I feel your pain and hope our bullies feel secure & stable asap.
Hang in there...GOD bless y'all and your new digs!

Thank you all sorry for the delay it's been a busy weekend! For now he's staying where he grew up at my gfs parents. Until we can take him to the vets, we've pushed back buying a new tv so he can come home with us and his brother Bowser. I've heard these surgeries can be expensive
