We went for a second opinion today and the specialist said that Rumble likely needed surgery. He said there was still swelling and that he could hear popping in Rumble's knee. He went over various types of surgeries(it was confusing and an emergency c section came in so I couldn't ask all questions but unfortunately cannot do the surgery for another couple weeks anyways due to vacation) but I'm not sure which one is best. He said he is not a fan of the TRPO for bulldogs and then discussed TTA and tightrope and something else. Rumble is 18 months old about 57 pounds and was super active. Any ideas on what type? What type have other bullies had?

I know some people have had their dogs acl or ccl repaired but am having a hard time finding who and what type of surgery they did. If I am doing my research correctly since Rumble is a young, large (58 pounds), active dog the TTA surgery would be good. Is that correct? Has anyone had success with other types?

Hey Tiffany --- my bot had ACL done twice. He had a rip, we tried to repair and it failed so we ended up with a replacement (fishing line, i think) which worked great and his recovery time was pretty quick too.

I know there are a few that had this done and I am struggling to remember the member names
