Help Needed! Redness around pup's mouth

It seems like my pup has developed redness around his mouth. I've been using baby wipes to clean his face after eating. And I use Tide with Downy in it to wash his bed and towel. Does this look broken out or am I being overprotective here? (Thanks for you help).

Doesn't look that bad really. Are the baby wipes unscented? If not I would suggest them, plus you can just use a damp towel also to clean his face and not the baby wipes all the time. Plus use stainless steel bowls if you are not doing so already. He is such a cutie pie too.

Thanks! yeah, it's unscented and hypoallergenic, alcohol free baby wipes. And he uses ceramic bowls. I'll use the stainless steel ones. Thank you for your help.

Ceramic bowls are fine as well. Some pink in the face if there face is white is fine. If it gets darker then something is going on.

I think the pink looks normal. As far as the tide, I can't use any scented detergent for Meatballs bedding. Makes in scratch like crazy.
