Im sotting here and wondering how many of you worm their bullies and other dogs regularly ? My vets have a lungworm awareness month and from
What i gathered in uk Drontal worming tablet does not offer protection against lungworm -which can be deadly ,we use Milbemax (prescription only) worming tablet that cover us against all worms every 3 months
It kind of scares me as our babies can pick up all sorts and this is why we use worming tablets.

According to what I found on "google" Lungworms are worms (several types of worms) that migrate to the lungs and cause various respiratory problems. It's becoming more common in the UK but most cases are still in the southern regions of England.
According to the CDC: here in the US, there have only been a few cases reported in the lower 48 states. Hawaii has had more, but the number is still low.

The general recommendation here is to deworm dogs only if they show symptoms (in order to avoid spreading the problem of drug resistance). But I'll ask the vet about it when Castor soon goes for his 1-year vaccination. Thanks for the info!
