Saturday jovi gets her surgery examination!

So on saturday I am bringing Jovi to get examined for her spaying surgery. I wanted to get her spayed before the 31st, seeing as how the 23rd she is 6 months. But I guess after the exam they cant do it for 2-3 weeks? That is bologna. Will her yeast be an issue with the surgery? She does how it right on and near her vaginal area. I am afraid even with the open wounds it may infect it. Any thoughts? Also, does anybody think she will go into heat before her surgery? I REALLY HOPE NOT. hahaha Oh and how long will it take for her to recover?

usually, at least at our vet they do schedule a one or two out for surgeries... it is common unless it is an emergency
