Well the vet said today that he could be going blind and he did pace in the car in a circle on the way to the vet yesterday, and we contacted the breeder about it and they don't want to take him back because he was healthy when he left them..he's getting snappy when u try to pet him too.He paces like all day then lays down like earlier he had been pacing all day then finally he went over to where his bed is and was moving around and then finally laid down.

Ok well first sounds like you're breeder stinks. Sorry second did you have a contract with them? If not the third question is how did you pay because if it is with a check or credit card you can cancel the payment and this may get their attention so that they are more apt to help you
All that aside the snapping is not good . My immediate response is to tell you to find a trainer who will help you work with him to calm down but unless his medical stuff is sorted out that may not be mush help. I would still find a good trainer and give them a call. The are usually really knowledge about health related behaviour issues and may even be able able to point you in a direction where you can get him some real help because right now all it sounds like you are getting is your wallet squeezed

If he have problem with eyesight or is in any sign of pain snapping could be the cause of this
Get him used to the touch -touch him as often as you can -even when hes sleeping
Im so sorry about your breeder
You were given great advice -and i think a full tests should be done on the puppy by a vet (not sure what they can do as i never experienced this myself) to get to the bottom of everything xx

Where do you live? There is an amazing bulldog specialist in indianapolis. His name is Dr. Curt Phillips and he is THE BEST
Even if you don't live close you could give him q call explain the situation and ask for his advice and a referral. He is very kind and helpful so I'm sure that would not be a problem. I can give you his # if you decide to give him a call pm me

Their website says 1 year health guarantee on all puppies, But exchanging texts they said 3 months or older they dont have a guarantee. They also said no refund or exchange because he was "perfectlly healthly" when we bought him.

They said no on the replacement or refund. Their website states a 1 year gaurantee on all puppies, but they texted back and said $1600 and under didnt have a 1 year gaurantee.
What does the contract that you signed say? Please look into the Health and Safety code section for your state that governs the lemon puppy law. California has one. Any contract that is at odds with the state law is invalid. If your little puppy has started snapping at you, he is in pain. If he is going blind, there is a medical reason. Dogs born sighted don't go blind for no reason. I feel so bad for your pup.

That's extremely unethical. Like I said if you didn't pay with vash call your cc company and cancel the payment . I would also print out what the website says just to have it so they don't change it.

We took a screen shot of the website where it stated all puppies have the 1 year guarntee. If the vet gives us bad news, their getting a lawyer. Dozer just walks back and forth, same path non stop. Only sleeps 1-2 sometimes 3 hours then back at it, and he snaps at our daughter once or twice. We know he don't mean to.

The past 2 vets told us poising, might be going blind, water on the brain, and distemper. The vet their going to tomorrow is gonna take a blood sample and send it off, so hopefully they can get it figured out so he's not in any more pain.

It just breaks my heart hearing about your lill pup:*( It saddens me that the breeder doesn't want to help you in any way:( While I would never replace or exchange a puppy I've grown attached to at least I'd expect some kind of help or cooperation trying to find out what is wrong. It should be in the breeders best interest to find out if it's genetic...

Like many have said before, to find a good vet is essential. We take our bulldogs to an animal hospital for everything, we've learned the hard way that these small vets along the road isn't anything to rely on. They're more for basic things like puppy vaccinations and minor injuries. I'm not saying ALL of them, I bet some can be really good and caring but for situations like this with a very hard diagnosed issue, I think it's better to look for a specialist.

I'm thinking of you all<3

This is copied from their facebook page, and it says all puppies come with a 1 year health guarnatee.

General Information
All our English Bulldogs have champion bloodlines and are without genetic defects. We take pride in raising puppies with good temperaments, good strong bones and joints and make sure they are well socialized. All our puppies come with a 1 year health guarantee.

I tried checking into the lemon puppy law, It appears tennessee and kentucky dont have one. We bought him from ky.
