Finally figured out how to convert the files to jpeg...

Here is the stone:

Her hips... you can see neither is in socket

And, her back... you can see all the arthritis on the underside of her spine (kind of looks like white pieces under the vertebrae)

Amazing and horrific, what an incredible trooper Banks is!

And so lucky to have such a loving, caring, DISCERNING Mom.

Most likely will be adjustments to her current pain meds and adding something like Rymidal (spelling), but our vet does not want to do anything until we get her stomach lining settled. He said it was in bad shape from trying to digest the stone.

she is really uncomfortable today and pacing like a caged lion... her back hair is on end almost all day. Feel so bad for her

OMG!!!!! Poor baby.

Wow!

I am still trying to figure out how the heck she swallowed that thing.... I took the picture on a coaster so if you have one at home, it gives a good idea of the size of it

so far so good, usually out of his mouth, one time they did find a small stone lodged in his anal gland :w00t: it bled when the vet released them and dug for it! Again  the things they eat!!!!!

omgosh soo sorry is she home...what can they do about her hips?

yes, she is home. Nothing to do for her hips... as bad as they are, she has always been active and able to live a fun dog filled life. We do pain mgmt with her, but Bulldogs are amazing in the level of pain they can endure
