i watched a video like that the other day too... ya i would be scared to do that especially if the dog wont stand still!!!
so i was browsing videos on youtube and came across this one. has anyone ever had to do this? i know i wouldn't be able to.. id be too scared to hurt gene, id rather have a vet do it...
what do you guys think??

Wow, I'd love to try that out instead of getting surgery done. Stig's cherry eye hasn't retreated for about 5 days now and it usually did before. He has vet appt on Monday and I'll mention the above for sure. Thanks!
That doesn't look too hard and it doesn't seem like there'd be much of a chance of doing harm since you're not touching the eye.

Well I have seen it done in person. My neighbor does it to his bully/pit mix. It does not seem to bother the dog at all. its over before the dog even realizes what he was doing.
