I'm in Arkansas and its been miserable here this week too. We were suppose to see over 100 here Friday but I think it only got to 98 but still felt like an oven outside. I only let Sheldon out for a few minutes at a time because I'm scared he will over-heat. I have a water bottle with a sports top on it and an attachment that fits to the neck of the bottle that the dog can drink from I keep that in the fridge for when we have to get out and put the air on cool the SUV off before I get Sheldon out there he refuses to ride in the front and will only ride in the middle seat not the very back or the rear just in the middle set of seats.

Yes once they get the fryers going over there the heat skyrockets ever year...they throw everything in the deep fryer, Deep fried chocolate covered bacon is a big hit this year.

It last a whole month in L.A. so if you have something like a clogged artery happen the first few days you could go get it taken care of and still make it back by the last week!!! Just for that last piece of bacon!!!

Thank God it only lasts a week here!!! I don't know that I could handle a hole month of the crap that goes on here during fair week. We live in a relatively small college town but the the populace grows exponentially during the fair week. UGH!!!
